OFAC issues Venezuela-related General License, FAQ, and designation

On 30th November 2020, the Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) issued General License 38, “Authorizing the Wind Down of Transactions Involving CEIEC.” Additionally, OFAC issued a new, related Frequently Asked Question (FAQ 854) and added CEIEC to the Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) list.
