China passes new export control law

On 17th October 2020, the "Export Control Law of the People's Republic of China" was passed by the Standing Committee of the 13th National People's Congress. The law will come into force on 1st December 2020. The law lays out export control regulation measures to safeguard national security, to fulfill international obligations, and to administer export controls.
