OFAC amends Nicaragua Sanctions Regulations and Ukraine-related General Licenses

Effective 17th July 2020, the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) amended the Nicaragua Sanctions Regulations (85 FR 43436). Additionally, OFAC added a general license to authorize “certain United States government activities.”

OFAC has also amended Ukraine-related General Licenses No. 13O (“Authorizing Certain Transactions Necessary to Divest or Transfer Debt, Equity, or Other Holdings in GAZ Group”) and 15I​ (“Authorizing Certain Activities Involving GAZ Group”).
