U.S. imposes additional duties on large civil aircraft products from the EU
Effective 18 October 2019, the U.S Trade Representative will impose additional duties on products of certain member States of the EU. These additional duties are a result of the U.S. Trade Representative's determination that the EU and certain member States have “denied U.S. rights under the World Trade Organization (WTO) Agreement and have failed to implement WTO Dispute Settlement Body recommendations concerning certain subsidies to the EU large civil aircraft industry.” The additional duties range from 10-25% and are specified in Annex A in the Federal Register notice.
The data reflecting these changes, as well as any associated anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duties (CVD) case information, will be available via PST.AG's data feed notification to our customers.
