3 companies removed by OFAC from the SDN list

On 27 January 2019 the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) announced that it has removed En+ Group plc, UC Rusal plc, and JSC EuroSibEnergo from its List of Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons (“SDN List”). These three companies have ‘reduced Oleg Deripaska’s direct and indirect shareholding stake . . . and severed his control.’ In addition, En+ Group plc, UC Rusal plc, and JSC EuroSibEnergo have agreed to OFAC’s auditing, certification and reporting requirements.
