Trump signs an Executive Order against the Venezuelan gold sector

On 1 November 2018 US President Trump signed an Executive Order entitled ‘Blocking Property of Additional Persons Contributing to the Situation in Venezuela.’ This order authorizes new sanctions on the Venezuelan gold sector, apparently attempting to target corruption in the Maduro regime.
