US adds an entity to the Entity List

The US Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) has added one entity to the Entity List, thereby amending the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Citing that this entity poses “a significant risk of becoming involved in activities contrary to the national security or foreign policy interests of the United States,”’ Fujian Jinhua Integrated Circuit Company, Ltd., (a.k.a., JHICC) has been added to the entity list.

This entity will be listed under the destination of China and this final ruling is effective 30 October 2018.
