US implements CCL and ECCN updates to harmonize with the Wassenaar Arrangement 2017 Plenary Agreemen

The US Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) has updated the Commerce Control List (CCL) based on the agreements made at the Wassenaar Arrangement on Export Controls for Conventional Arms and Dual-Use Goods and Technologies (WA) at the December 2017 WA Plenary meeting. These changes coordinate the CCL with the WA by revising Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCNs) and making the associated changes in the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

These changes are effective 24 October 2018.
