U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations revised by the Department of State

The U.S. Department of State has revised the International Traffic in Arms Regulations by removing specific notification requirements. The State Department has also amended the United States Munitions List. According to Federal Register Document Number 2018-21422, “Specifically, this rule adds notes to USML Category IV and V, revises control text in USML Categories VIII, XI and XV, and revises a section of the regulations.”

This rule is effective on October 4, 2018.
