U.S. Export Administration Regulations are revised based on the 2017 Missile Technology Control Regi

The Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR or Regime) is an export control arrangement among 35 nations seeking to limit the risk of proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.

The U.S. Bureau of Industry and Security is amending the Export Administration Regulations to reflect changes to the MTCR Annex (a common list of controlled items established by the Regime) that were agreed to by MTCR member countries at the October 2017 Plenary in Dublin, Ireland, and the May 2017 Technical Experts Meeting in Stockholm, Sweden.

This final rule, effective August 30, 2018, revises seventeen Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCNs) to implement the changes that were agreed to at the meetings and to better align the missile technology controls on the Commerce Control List with the MTCR Annex.

As always, the data reflecting these changes is available via PST.AG's data feed notification to our customers.
