Final Rule to fix Typographical Errors in EAR

Today, the US Department's Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) made corrections in 6 Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) to fix typographical errors, and amend several Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCNs).

This step was taken to enhance consistency with the other ECCNs on the Commerce Control List (CCL).

This rule is effective December 27, 2017.

The corrections made in 6 Code of Federal Regulation (CFR) are:

2. 15 CFR 734

3. 15 CFR 738

4. 15 CFR 740

5. 15 CFR 746

6. 15 CFR 774
