The Department of Treasury announces sanctions on Venezuelan Officials

The Department of Treasury's OFAC announced sanctions on 13 Venezuelan individuals on Wednesday. These individuals are allies of Venezuela's president, Nicolas Maduro. The intention of this sanction is to give a stern warning to the Venezuelan government just before the widely-protested "constituent assembly" scheduled for Sunday.
